Free Session - RSVP Required

REGISTRATION IS CLOSED. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST.

(Please, no more than 2 individuals per organization)

About this Session:  Most tax-exempt organizations are required to file a Form 990 with the IRS, a resource open and available to the public. Since the Form 990 is one of the ways an organization “tells its story,” it is important to have an understanding of this document. As a key member of the organization – staff, board member, long-time volunteer – learn what external parties – donors, prospective donors, charity watchdog groups and the media – look for when reviewing an organization’s Form 990.

Who Should Participate: Anyone interested in increasing their knowledge about IRS Form 990.

About the Presenter:  James G. Quaid, CPADirector, ORBA

Jim Quaid is Chair of ORBA’s Not-For-Profit Group. His experience includes providing auditing, accounting and tax services for not-for-profit organizations, including charter schools, social service agencies, associations, foundations, and civic and cultural organizations. His experience enables him to advise his not-for-profit clients about new funding streams, the best course when looking to provide a new service or program, and effective ways to undertake strategic or operational changes.
